The Iwao Flute Company was founded by Iwao Yokoyama in Tokyo in 1960. The company produce a full range of Concert Flutes and is recognised as one of the leading makers of professional flutes.
In 1981 Y Yokoyama, son of the founder and being a Master Craftsman joined the family owned company.
The Iwao flute enjoys a high reputation amongst players from beginners to virtuosi.
